August Hostess Club Project

Monarch Butterfly Card with Stampin' Up!'s Watercolor Wings and Butterflies Framelits www.MarionCreates.comI am in looove with this month's hostess club project. I got the inspiration from Patty Bennett at Patty's Stamping Spot.

I was going to write a whole blog post about the tips and tricks to making stamps with Fun Foam and Stampin' Up!'s Thinlits and Framelits but as I was planning it I realized there was too much stuff to put in a single post. So I whipped out the camera a recorded a video.

The video is 20 minutes long, but believe me it's worth it! It is jam packed with information. I will give you the measurements and supplies here though.

Thanks for stopping by. Please tell me what you think and if you have any questions.
I will send a random card that I have begging to be sent to the first 10 people who comment on this blog. And if you "bring a friend" to this blog and you both comment you will get two cards! So tell your friends!

July Ladies Classes

Oh my goodness! I love this month's projects! I have been wanting to use the Just Kidding stamp set for a while, but other projects pushed it out of the way. I love that set so much that I ended up purchasing 2 sets, on accident! I've never done that before.

And let me tell you the Butterfly card, this picture does not do it justice. At. All! I keep walking by it and my heart melts every time I see it. I may have to make a dozen more of this one.

Butterfly Card - this card uses a sponging technique that is fun and relaxing.
