Undefined - My Carvings

When Stampin' Up! announced their new line of stamps, half of the convention attendees didn't know what to think. Me? I think it's great! Before I even signed up to be a demonstrator I discovered rubber stamp carving. It sure does come in handy when you can't find the stamp you are looking for.

The best part? You don't have to be an artist to create your own stamps. Because I've always said, I'm not an artist, that is why I stamp.

Here are some of my rubber stamps that I carved.

The Santa Clause and the scarecrow were from images I had found somewhere. I traced the image onto vellum and then rubbed the design onto the rubber. The rest is history. I did sketch the coffee related images. No, they're not perfect, but it's not bad for an amateur. Don't you think?

Stampin' Up! has a Pinterest board just for people to upload their carvings. Take a look, you'll be surprised at how varied the images are.

Thanks for stopping by.
